What bothered me the most was the optimstic atmosphere in the end - which should be very pessimistic, the dark lord rising, etc. - and the idiotic "dances" of the girls from Beauxbatons and guys from Durmstrang. |

I think this was actually the best adaptation from Book to film, and only things that were cut were things that wern't relivent to future films unlike in the last one.
I think they had to make the end of the film a little more opptamistic to make it appeal to non readers of the books remember non readers of the books now need to wait about a year and a half to see the next film and the director had to get them to want to come back to see the next one the only thing that I thought was weird was Voldemort's age if you add it up in the books he is 54 when he kills Harry's parents so seeing as he got hit "old" body back in GOF his body is 54 years old (he is 68 however) but Ralph fiennes who is 43 and Voldemort in GOF looks between 38 - 45 did anyone else notice this?

i liked tha movie but it seemed really really empty compared to the book. i felt like i was reading the book with 300 pages torn out of it. it just felt.......empty. it needed more.

I loved the movie but they left out so many of Ron's great lines. He really is so funny in the books. And Fred and George, too! They were good but bland compared to how they are in the books.
That's probably the only thing wrong with this movie. It's a pale pale version of an awesome story. They did spend a bit too much time showing off their stupid CGI dragon, though. I hate it when people have to show off their CGI. Quote:

"Parvati sat down on Harry's other side, crossed her arms and legs too, and within minutes was asked to dance by a boy from Beauxbatons..." Was a bit pointless...

Plus, isn't one the first to get out of the carriage? He folds out some stairs or something for Madame Maxime. I think that was in the book...
Speaking of Madame Maxime, I didn't like her in very much in the movie.
