Wild stab in the dark, but is it a Silmaril?

Oh gosh, you stabbed the wrong thing! And Silmaril moved away grom the right answer. Good guess though.

I can only think of 'water' as they 'always had a lord' in Ulmo. I don't see how the sibling thing fits, though.

That was my train of thought with the "wind"... only the lord was Manwe.

The Nandor/Green Elves?

The Elves are bound within Arda.
After Denethor's death they took no King ever again.
They took Thingol as overlord once they moved into Ossiriand.
The Nandor are Teleri, Thingol was lost for an age. One could say they were siblings of his, being of his blood.

If not the Nandor/Green-Elves, then how about the Elves whose elvish name meant The Forsaken People, who later became the people of Doriath?

No, not the Nandor... I said earlier "IT'S not a person". Just tell me if this is too difficult.

Earniel's Riddle

From the earth we all are fed.
Yet some who walk will eat no bread.
And when their hunger starts to grow,
they fuel their strength with H-2-O.

You could say, "No, that's not it," if that's not it.

Uh... Does that mean it has something to do with the Beginning of time, like the firstish part of the Silmarillion? A simple yes or no will do. Because if it's yes, then we can rule out the other things from other books... it shouldn't give away too much; I've been looking at that point of view and I can't think of anything.

Well... no, not exactly the beginning of time... not that far away from it, though.

A Riddle

Precious treasure carried far
settled score from journey's scar.

Both old and new kept close within,
hidden deep and touching skin.

Nope. That answer does not fit all the clues. Please try again.

P.S. It's nice to see you again Val, old pal!

Earniel's Answer:

SPONGES? I can't decide if it is an animal in general, an animal specific to Middle-Earth (or indeed, all of Eä!), or a race specific to Middle-Earth...

These are Middle-Earth creatures that our resident expert, Earniel, will happily identify for you if ever she gets here. Thank you for guessing!
