Who's pre-ordered Book 5?
I have already. From a bookshop in town, though, not online.
For those of you who haven't, are you lining up to get it at midnight?

I ordered it last week from Amazon UK when I learned they were selling it for half price or something like that. I want the original text as published by Bloomsbury, NOT the "americanized" version by Scholastic which is the only one I can get here in the US.
I also ordered the "adult" cover -- guess I'm that target market Waiting VERY impatiently....

I haven't pre-ordered it- it's released very close to my birthday- so I'm assuming one of the many people who love me will wait for hours to get it for me.
I've got to reread the entire series first - to get in the bespectacled wizard mood. |

I've ordered the real (read: British) edition from Amazon, and reserved a copy of the cruddy (read: American) edition at a local book store.

I didn't preordered it, and I won't wait all night in the line to get it. I guess it would just be on the shelves when I arrive. No one here reads it in Engish, you see.

There's going to be a huge party at our Barnes and Noble at midnight. It will be full of kids dressed like Harry and Co. That's what happened on the 4th book release. My sister will want to go, it's actually kind of fun. It's great to see so many kids thrilled about a book, sometimes it seems like the majority of kids just don't read anymore.
Sorry, back on topic; I just figured every store will be full of books, but maybe we should preorder the book.

I haven't pre-ordered it, but I'm starting to think I ought to. I guess most places will sell out quite quickly. I'm not even going to be at home that day (my parents don't share my obsession with getting the new book!) but luckily the place where I'm going has some of the best bookshops in the world. So fingers crossed

There having a party at a local bookstore. Last time there was someone telling fortunes. I want to do that this year. I can read palms, and I have this excellent handmade Gypsy outfit.
(If anyone sends me a scan of there hand, I will read it for them. LOL.)

I reserved a copy at the bookstore. At the bookstore here, you get like, 30% off if you reserve a copy. I'll probably go get it as soon as I wake up that morning.

There's going to be a party at the store I'm going to, too... I'm not sure I'll stay for all the activities, though. I just want to get on with reading the book!

I haven't because I don't think too many people will be lined up to get it here. I'll just run to Sam Goodies and grab my copy the day it comes out.

I've already pre-ordered mine... I did this long ago, in fact. But, here's the nifty bit: the almost-local b&n usually has a Harry Potter Sleepover when the books come out. If they have one, I'm going. And, if not, I'll be lining up the night before and camping out to get mine, as school get out the day before. Hoorah!
