Didn't know.

I didn't acually know there are any LotR movies. To the video rental place I go.

Actually, the one this forum is mainly for just starting filming today . There was an animated version that covered the first book and half of the second book, although it wasn't very good. Then another cartoon was made by a different company that covered the third book, but the second half of The Two Towers was never animated. Then there's the animated Hobbit, which really isn't half bad . Peter Jackson is directing the three liveaction movies, which will be filmed back to back in New Zealand. Check the post in this forum called "LotR Official Press Release" for more information .

Blimey who dug this old fossil up?

Ah heady days of wanderings through ME before Jackson's home movies..........when the hobbits didn't have American accents (unless you were an american reading the books of course) and Aragorn had a chin....

Happier days they were

Still, Entmoot got a new forum out of the movies.........so it can't be all bad
