Dead? It's just going through some downtime, that's all. In a few days, it'll pick up again, and there will be more posts than ever. After about 100 times through this cycle, we will eventually pass the JC.

Re: :)
Do you think it had anything to do with the fact that I was away for the weekend?

This site is slowly fading for one very important reason, the administraters ryan and tater have been exceedingly negligent. They have completely ignored their duties. They choose to go online once or twice a week. How can they possibly fufil their duties as an administrater? In the rare occasion that they do go online, ryan and tater chose to go to jc, not entmoot. I think it is obvious that entmoot needs new leaders. I think I should be this new leader.

Hi guys!
Hey - don`t sign the death certificate just yet! :-) I like this board a lot. It`s one of my fave ezboards1 Don`t give up on it guys! Hey, Tater! You were away the weekend also? What did you do fun? Anything? I`ve been away since Thursday. Did some hiking, checked out a kayak competition, which was a ton of fun, and visited with family. My brother and his family were up from Georgia. His wife is Nicaraguan. Her mother was visitig and came up with them. She doesn`t speak any English. We had a blast trying to teach each other words and songs and stuff. The Spanish is pretty easy to pick up on. She was amazed how fast I was learning. I`m even invited to come down and visit. I`d love to see what Central America is like. Where they live, they don`t have tv and all that electronic stuff. They wash clothes on a washboard type device. My brother said it`s kind of like camping out. They go buy their food before every meal because they don`t have a fridge. My brother says the marketplace is kind of cool. He said you can barter for anything & everything! They do a lot of really cool, intricate embroidery and stuff there. You can buy stuff like that there for 1/3 of the cost you`d find here. I`d love to go experience the culture there. It`s nice to get away from modern conveniences now & then. OK, this is a bit off topic. Excuse me for rambling. I`m good at that! Anyway, keep posting guys and keep the board going!

Re: Hi guys!
i was in New Jersey visiting my grandparents, driving in the Pine Barrons with my uncle, doing some target practice, and almost getting eaten by the Jersey Devil.

SoaH, if you think that's a lot you should check out Shar Kida's latest messsages at the JC (Ol Val all ) The Pine Barrens is an area in central New Jersey that is/is supposed to have poor soil, and lots of pine trees. They used to mine coal and stuff there in the 1800s
