I dont think so because orcs are evil and twisted- unlike the perfect elves.

I think that was a problem Tolkien had with the 'Orcs from Elves' idea. If I remember correctly, towards the end of his life, he decided that Orcs are the descendants of Men, not Elves. And this really should be in the ME forum, I think, as it deals with Eldar and Yrch, not those [snobbish voice]OTHER[/snobbish voice] elves and 'orcs' in most fantasy.

If you mean Tolkien's orcs, this should definitely be in another forum, but I think there's already a topic like this in the Middle Earth forum somewhere.

Most likely, there is.

But of course, I don't see how he could mean something else. In few other worlds are Elves immortal; and I think in no other worlds are Orcs even thought to be descended from Elves.
