Cats/LOTR--A match made in heaviside?
Just so ya'll know, I am, besides being an LOTR fan (I haven't finished the RotK yet, but Laurelyn can vouch for my obssesiveness) a complete and utter, bonafide Cats fan. Cats is the longest-running musical in Broadway history. I wondered what would happen if you took the Cats characters, turned 'em into LOTR people, and plunked the LOTR people into the Junkyard? Here goes!
Munkustrap: What are we doing here? No junk, no pizza, just some weird forest with shapes darting around! We have to find Old Deuteronomy! Rum Tum Tugger: You ought to ask Magical Mister Mistoffelees... Jennyanydots: Oh shut up already! Etcetera: I'm scared Tugger, there are giant spiders in here! (Bilbo appears out of the darkness) Have no fear! I will do the stinging! Mistabella: I know who you are! Bilbo:Who? Mistabella: Bilbo Baggins. Hey... this is Middle-Earth! Jellicles: WHAAT? (just so you beings know, you can take on any character in LOTR or Cats--I just started as everybody!)

Seen Cats quite a few times to say the least- my friends and ex boyfriend used to be cast members but I have to say I've never associated the two and can't now!!!! Can't put Tugger, Munkustrap, or darling Misto into any of the fellowship etc. Keep the two seperate I think- despite the fact that I know a Tugger with a very big thing for Orlando Bloom but the less said about that the better. Mx
