That thing that you can't recall...
Okay I know every, EVERY has had problems remembering a word you wanted to use in a story, a clever punch-line to a good a joke, that actor your friend likes in that new movie...Things just won't come to mind...
I can't think of the word that (feel real stupid, but then again, one fine summer, she spelled her name wrong) means people who are on a ride, or train, or some sort of transportation. It would make sense in a sentence like, "The (blank) disembarked" Seriously, if you need help or would like to help, post, and be happy. Can someone gimme some words I really feel stupid but come on help me!

Eh? That's nothing! In MY day we had to walk crossed legged, five miles, in the snow, uphill, both ways!
Seriously though, I suffer from this ALL the time. That's why I invested in a boyfriend. I can drive him insane with my "What's that word? You know? That thing that starts with 'R'?..."

The worst is when you walk into a room for something (say the kitchen) and forget what you are looking for I make more pots of coffee because of this than is good for me (hint: It's invariably the scissors, which you remember when you return to you desk/study). |

I'm like "Stalin was the leader of the Soviet union which was a communist regime...(brain switches onto Legolas through shear boredom- mouth opens and says)...er sorry what was I saying?" Evil history teacher gives me you stupid idiot type stare and I feel as big as a hobbit at an elven tea party!!! Mx |

Forgetting words, neh that happens to me all the time. I usually start calling eveything 'thingie'. I can be very coherent when I can't find the right words and use 'thingie' three times in one sentense. That or I can remember the word perfectly in another language but I can't find the right dutch word for it.
