Yes well, no comment on the 60 year old bowler that just got sent home for sexual harassment. (We're getting a bit of a bad rep! - Doesn't help that one of our swimmers persists in showing his butt-crack...)

Cass - Do you know why that Aussie swimmer got disqualified from the 200m (?) backstroke?

mint cake has kept the lakes going !!!Have you ever been to white cross ( between ambleside and windermere ), great place but really bad "turns" on in the club at night !!
The british atleate thing just what we do. Its the whole eddie Irvine thing when he was in a shot of the championship he was 'British' when he didnt get it and has been useless since hes back to been an ulsterman.

Im glad sumone likes kendal mint cake cos i sure as hell dont. We also have a good trade in sheep up here and we all know u like talking about sheep. what do you mean by turns? I cannot say i have been to the white cross theres to many tourist walking slowly and pointing things out in the lakes for my liking.

white cross is a watersports centre and holiday village ( full of aussie barmaids and barmen !- no surprise there as they do tend to get everywhere )that has really bad singers on to entertain the holidaymakers. I think your starting to get obsessed with sheep, ive never mentioned them before, ever, baah.

I was just going to whinge about that! Matt Welsh got disqualified because he was moving on the blocks. But the starter isn't supposed to blow the gun until everyone has stopped moving. So he got disqualified. And guess who won - an English guy! Grrr... Oh well, Thorpey is going for his 5th gold tonight!

Ah! That makes sense. I just don't recall them even bothering to explain why he was disqualified. And anyway, those poor brits (okay - whinging poms ) don't stand a chance unless you guys get disqualified.

Is it my imagination, or does he look really BORED this time around? No one seems to be giving him sufficient competition, the poor b4stard.

Thorpes probably bored because he is so far ahead of everyone else. He has now won 5 gold medals from 5 events. My cousin got another medal in the shooting: she got a silver.

Yay! Nigel Avery just got 2 golds and a silver in weight lifting. He set a games record at 215 kg AND he was one of the lightest guys there at 120 something kgs. And it was awesome, cos he when he made his last lift (Only had to do 2 out of 3), he held it for longer than he had to, and gave a cute little victorious smile.

Well since NZ is literally half way 'round the world, we only got the games from 9.30pm onwards. I missed most of them, cos they were on too early in the morning.

Yeah, all the good swimming races were at 5:00 in the morning.
The next games is in Melbourne, where I live, so hopefully I can go and see Thorpey and the rest win more gold medals.
