Life
Well, I am curious about things that have gone on in everyone's life. I am a lurker, so I've seen alot of you peoples (entmooters) personality traits. I am a firm believer in what you go through makes you who you are I also think it will make of a hellova funny/interesting read. I will thus ask my questions.
Name the Scariest moment of your life. Name the saddest. (sadist...hee hee hee) The most embarrassing. The happiest. Only answer one (if you think these are personal questions) The scariest moment of my life is also my saddest: I was told I had ovarian cancer, and I had to get a hysterectomy (sp), even though I (okay my family I was 15 when I went under the knife) should sue for Malpractise because they didn't need to completely crush my chances of having children of my own. Most Embarrassing. I was like 7 and had to recite a verse for my former church, It was about god being omnipotent omniscient and omnipresent. Well I got scared and said god was ambivalent, ambidextrous, and antisocial. I wasn't embarrassed then, but I am now, because my parents feel the need to rehash that all the time. Happiest: My Grandma survived a car crash. Exciting stuff! Okay, I'm done

I don't think i have a saddest moment, or a happiest or a most embarrassing one. Lots of things seem horribly sad or embarrassing or happy when they happen but nothing stands out. Thats actually rather upsetting. what a pointless life i've lead so far

The scariest moment of my life was...when I PURPOSFULLY locked myself into the trunk of our old car(I was pouting because I couldn't go a friends house)and couldn't get out.
The saddist day of my life was when...I honestly cant remember. I dont have alot of sad days. I mean I have sad days but I dont remember them. The most embarrassing day of my life was when...I'm oblivious to when I embaress myself. The really embaressing time is something you have to BEG me to tell. The happiest day of my life was when my Big Brother got out of prison. It had been 3 years of letters and phone conversations and I was the first person to hug him in our family. He was so DIFFERENT yet here he was large as life my adored older brother.

Can't think of a saddest or most embarrassing. Happiest?Hmmm . . . don't know about that either.

Scariest: About eight years ago I found myself hanging on the side of a ten metre cliff with jagged rocks at the bottom -- by one hand. Swinging in the wind. And losing grip.

My scariest moment was probably when a car pulled out into the lane I was driving in and stopped when they saw me coming (apparently they hadn't looked ahead of time when pulling out). I was going about 45 MPH, and had to swerve quickly to avoid their car. My car of course went out of control, they pulled on out and kept going, and I ended up facing the wrong way in the left turn lane of the other side of the road. The person who caused the accident never even stopped. Luckily I wasn't hurt.
Most embarassing: This will make you laugh. I was in college and was at home getting ready to go to classes. My parents were at work, and since my brother's car wasn't in the driveway I figured he was, too. As I got ready, I belted out my favorite show tunes, one after another, at top volume. All of a sudden my brother yells, "Will you please stop!?!" from his bedroom. It turns out his car was in the shop and he had been asleep. I guess it shouldn't be that embarassing because it was only my brother, but then, considering I don't sing well and I was singing really loudly...it was embarassing, but still it's funny. I've had more sad moments than I can remember. They're in the past, and I don't wish to recall them. Happiest: tie -- the days my two sons were born. Next happiest days will be a tie for when they move out of the house (JUST KIDDING!) |

I too, am a lurker
I'm a lurker, and to answer your question, it is ALWAYS the 'loud' (figurartive) people. The people who obviously believe they know it all.
Scariest is also the saddest: I was like 11, and all the neighbor kids were playing in MY neighbors yard. (neighbor to the right, her name was nancy, terrible name for a kid huh?) Most of the kids were around my age at the time except for these 2 little boys around the age of 5, who were twin brothers, (ferternal) There mother calls them home for lunch (they lived down the road and across the street). One of the runs across the street. Great wonderful. the other little boy, John, had to get his shoes, so he took a little longer to go. He runs across the street, but low and behold, a car is speeding down the street. John hadn't looked, and I began to scream for him to come back. He didn't. They said he died instantly. Embarrassing: to many to recall a certain one. Happiest: Don't have any.

As for myself, my scariest and happiest experiences are too personal to share with the world. My most embarressing experiences I'd rather forget. My saddest moment was a dream I had. A very annoying dream in which my Dad died over and over again, and I was just as grieved after each time as I would be if it had happened in real life.

I thought of a scariest, but it ended ok. On the last night of camp we stayed up all night because the first people's planes left at 5 am or something, and i was sitting on the lawn of my house with some ppl at around 4:30 when 4 people come running up from the docks. So we went down to see what was going on and out in the bay a boat was up in flames and there were people on it screaming for help. Someone had already called 911 so there was nothing we could do to help them, the ocean was freezing but they had to jump in. Eventually the director got there and went out in his boat and got them. it was a father and son. But then the boat drifted into shore and caught some trees on fire. it all turned out ok, but if it had happened another night when we hadn't been up they probably would have died. the worst part was watching them scream and not really being able to do anything.
