![]() Dr. Eugene Hargrove, whose essays on music and poetry in Middle-earth have earned recognition among Tolkien fans around the world, will be a guest lecturer for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at their October 7 and 8 peformances of Howard Shore's 'Lord of the Rings' music.

Aaargh, I had the chance to go to those performances of the LoTR movie music. The very first one was in Antwerp and I forgot. I simply forgot to order tickets until the day it started. I heard later from someone who had gone that it had been awesome. Believe me, I'm still kicking myself.
