[TB?] The Lamps of the Valar
What are the names of the two lamps of the Valar?
Hint:
I will post the answer next Friday, 1/30/04, and the location/name of the next [TB?].

Is this a Silmarillion Trivia thread? Cool. Actually, I've only read it once, but I think I know half the answer to your question.
Teleperion, one of the two trees of Valinor. EDIT: I read your hint, and I'm completely off.

The Lamps names were Illuin (Northern Lamp) and Ormal (Southern Lamp)...Telperion was one of the Trees' names and Laurelin was the other.

If this is a trivia thread it should be closed, there is already one here.

Answer to "The Lamps of the Valar"
The answer to the "Lamps of the Valar" is: Illuin is the Northern lamp, and Ormal is the Southern.
The next [TB?] will be in the Star Wars forum under the name of "Which trade route?".

As I said in the GMs forum, there are already numerous trivia threads on this board. This way is too confusing and difficult to moderate . I'm sorry. Closing.
