I feel mean shooting down everyone's ideas.
(But Leather Punks sound a bit... naughty. )

I'm sorry I stifled your creativity! Erm... heh...
Give the Rohirrim biker gang whatever name you like GW. EDIT: We could somehow connect them to the government... If we have them not riding horses though, would that alter Rohirrim-centred plot-points too much? Like Shadowfax... have we said anything about him? If not I guess he could be a Harley or a Kawasaki Ninja...

If I remember correctly, the Hells Angels were the name of a section of the US(or maybe some other army) army in some war... but don't take my word for it, I might be wrong, I just think I saw something about that on the History Channel once.

It's quite all right. Leather Punks does sound a bit naughty. What do u think of a kind Easy Rider like bike as Shadowfax? In a way they are connected to the government of Rohan, Eomer being the nephew of Theoden. Last edited by Grey_Wolf : 02-17-2005 at 11:54 AM. |

I love it! Having them as a para-military group is perfect!
Did you like my post there? Now they can jump up and surprise the Rohirrim who will speedily encircle them with their bikes... The three extra horses that Éomer had, whose Riders were lost in the battle with the orcs, can be three extra bikes. Someone can ask how the bikes drove themselves, and as if in response, one could randomly rev its engine all by itself. Éomer could explain that the bikes of the Mark have a mind of their own. The Rohirrim take very good care of their bikes, treating them as one of their kin. Ooh! Can Arod (the bike Legolas and Gimli ride) be a Kawasaki Ninja? EDIT: How do you want to do the "no bit or bridle" thing of Legolas? No leather jacket? (Bikers often wear a leather jacket and trousers to avoid leaving their skin on the road if they fall.) Anyone have a better idea? (No seat? ) j/k!

Erm... this RPG rocks! I'm not quite sure how to characterize Éomer, so someone else have a go. For some reason, this line really amused me: Quote:

Hey EB, can we have Gimli ride behind Legolas? Not such a biggie, but it's possible to do this on a motorbike, and I can't imagine the Rohirrim having random side-car attachments. Erm... because making sense is our main goal... yes...

And soon we will have to tackle the horrid experience of the Hobbits being dragged along by the ORCers over the Plains of Rohan. Which I have begun.
Suggestions: Saruman's ORCers: Black Sabbath and Black Crowes' fans Sauron's ORCers: KISS and Bon Jovi fans. Perhaps even a few Judas Priest and Megadeath-fans. Last edited by Grey_Wolf : 02-22-2005 at 03:20 PM. |
