Not leaving. Wouldn't dream of it I love the TLA.
I personally would support Doriath, but I'd do whatever, so I think it is more important that we get input from some of the members who don't post so often (so maybe they'll come back?).

*relieved sigh*
Thank you. You aren't in Seattle anymore, are you? Too bad, you could have poked the Seattlites awake again. Maybe I should go and harass them all on LJ.

Oh, I'll poke away when I come home for Winter Break, trust me...
It's just the "being away at college" thing that I'm not in Seattle. LJ poking is good too, though, come to think of it

I'm here! I'm sort of following along. It's just that I don't KNOW anything, so I'm really no help whatsoever at all. Sorry.
I can sort of...go along and be annoying and sidekick-like and poke people though. Yeah.

I would also point out for the EXTREMELY lazy, the Silmarillion discussion project on this very site has summaries of the action of the different chapters. So there is no excuse for not being able to post

Ahem, people, did I say you could leave? No, I didn't. Now get back here and help us decide how to proceed: the destruction of Doriath or the destruction of Gondolin?

I already voted, but I have to concur... VOTE. However, I don't remember getting an opinion from you either, Eärniel.

Hey, I posed the original question! I don't have give out opinions, I'm asking them! Although on re-reading, you may note a slight preference for Gondolin, if no one else but the two of us starts to post seriously again.

Oh, be that way but then we're at loggerheads without *cough* ANOTHER VOTE *cough* because I lean ever so slightly to Doriath. Slightly.

Fne.... hmpf...
I could say I yield to the will of the majority but if you lean slightly to Doriath and I just as slightly lean to Gondolin AND NOBODY ELSE VOTES, we're so screwed.

Exactly my point. Unless SOMEONE ELSE THINKS TO VOTE, this is going nowhere

Um. Don't both get destroyed, in the Sil? Or are we just ignoring that?

We're deciding whether to actually enact the destruction of Doriath, or just skip on to the destruction of Gondolin. Clearly, both occur in the actual Sil, but we're trying to gauge interest in doing Doriath.

Yeah, the point is that PEOPLE DON'T POST ENOUGH, so we were wondering -with so few players - whether we should skip wrecking Doriath and go straight to wrecking Gondolin. If we skip Doriath, we have less material to cover and we might be able to finish the game before what little interest there is left, runs out. So we're trying to get people's opinion on this, but clearly people aren't being cooperative... Why am I laughing? That isn't a good thing.

Indeed it is not a good thing , but if Arcala helps us then it gets much better. We might even be able to get some momentum
Quietly lobbies for Doriath

I'll get involved!
I'm leaning towards Doriath. Getting to see Thingol get killed will make up for missing anything at all to do with Finrod and Nargothrond... *sigh*
