Well... more awards should be in order... I THINK you've just re-passed Ruinel in the Great Post Race!!!
I'm gonna hand out another award though: Earlier mentioned DoLC for her great quote-solving ability... but I'd like to give special mention to: Best Quote Solver whose Native Language is Other Than English: I'd say... Artanis! There are other likely candidates though... can anyone else help decide? |

My dear fellow Mooters, I'm so honored to receive the prestigous (dang, how do you spell that?!) Most Prolific Poster Award *wipes away tears* It's a great honor to have my spamminess - er, verbosity praised by such venerable fellow Tolkien lovers. And it means even more to me because ... I beat out that spammin' she-elf, Rui... *slaps self on cheek* um, I tried SO hard, though countless, weary days and nights, striving time and again to keep going, keep pressing on for this award, even tho I didn't know it existed. The long days and nights, when I typed with sore and bleeding fingertips; those terrible times when I had to give up on my fingers and type with my toes; and in the darkest hours, when I had to sit my dog in the chair and have him type to my diction, are all WORTH IT NOW, because of this wonderful award!
And this is no simple Most Prolific Poster award. No, it is an award given by discriminating, intelligent voters - the Mooters here at Entmoot - that know it's NOT a simple matter of post count *innocent glance at Ruinel* that determines the outcome. No; it's things like my many displays of multiple posts, each one pushing the post character limit to the max, that were taken into account. And not only my many multi-posts, but the content of the posts - filled to the brim with dizzying, mind-numbing combinations of words that made the Mooters feel like a deer in the headlights and cry out for mercy - several people even converted to Christianity out of sheer desperation, hoping that I would stop the verbiage-laden posts. And in addition, I ask you - does the name of "Ruinel" strike terror into the heart of Mooters like the name of "RÃ*an"? At the mere sight of my lovely homemade avatar, Mooters suddenly decide that perhaps they better log off and attend to other pressing matters, like doing the laundry or cutting their toenails, whereas when they see "Ruinel", they eagerly read her posts. My posts have raised the grades of countless Mooters, as they suddenly decide that they would rather do homework than wade thru another one of my fearsome multi-post contributions. And does "Ruinel" carry over into their lives outside of the Moot, like "RÃ*an" does? No! I say, no! Whenever the Mooters pick up the Silmarillion or Unfinished Tales, they cannot escape from the shadow of my name; indeed, the very opening words of Unfinished Tales ("RÃ*an, wife of Huor, dwelt with the people of the House of Hador...") strikes terror into their heart and they have to fight the urge to put the book down and flee! And when the stouthearted ones dare to continue on and read the first four paragraphs, their eyes fill with tears of gratitude when they realize that Tolkien kills her off on the very first page!. And knowing me, they have a new and deeper appreciation of why her husband, Huor, left for the desperate wars with almost certain death in view, after only a few months of marriage with RÃ*an. *wonders where the cleaners went ...* And furthermore ... *darn post limit!!!! - to be continued*

Oh, nevermind - I'm too overcome with emotion to continue *sniff*
Thank you to everyone who voted for me! I'm eternally grateful, from the tip of my halfelven head to my blistered-from-typing toes. Thank you, thank you, thank you! *throws kisses* *checks post count* And just because I'm a kind and wonderful person, I would like to nominate RUINEL for a special award - best prank of the year! - for her clever little trick of upping her post count by 10K for a few days!!!! *enthusiastically applauds Ruinel* I'm still dying to know how she did it! 'Fess up - did SGH give you a hand? C'mon, Ru - no hard feelings over my beating your little elven hiney, right? Let's head over to the Teacup Cafe - I'll buy!
