the trick with romance is to not hold anything back, and to never give your heart till your sure, in shorter words there is no one size fits all plan for romance, we all walk around in the dark and try not to get hurt while trying to find happyness but thats half the fun

Anyhow, I agree that communication is essential as mirrille stated. I used to have a girlfriend in Switzerland whom I met in England (don't ask) (or go ahead and ask) and since she spoke French as a first language and English as a second language comm. was hard. It frustrated her a lot more then it did me. Plus those long distance relationships are the pits!! I was able to hold it up for a year and a half, but it was all I could take.
I was wondering what y'all thought about the "When Harry met Sally" theory. Basically that guys and girls can't be friends without sex getting in the way.

i think it impossible to not think about it, but i think it is possible not to let sex interfere with your friendship, personally im going through this problem with a girl i went out with, like we want to be friends but damn she is in my head, anyway i think it is possible, but it takes actual effort

Time=Relationship. The amount of time you put into a relationship helps to determine how deep the relationship will go. I believe you can stay friends without sex getting in the way if you be careful of how much alone time you have. Also don't be naive (eg "oh it's only this person,and he/she's like a sibling to me"), because the relationship always has the potential to change.

I agree that it is possible to not have sex get in the way and they key to it is not acting like oh this will never happen cause if it does then you will do something stupid, and possible ruin the friendship
