Conratulations, Rinkë! I need to find one for when Aug. 22 rolls around.
Probably the only good thing I've ever heard about beer is that Tolkien's characters drink it. Other than that... I'm sorry to say... I just can't love it.

Pfft... heathen.
Beer is for the gods. Congrats on the job Curu! I'm still diddling on which one I want to go for... I think I hear a few ranches calling my name.

Or you could just work in the ER, for the employee discount.

Well, my job is interesting. I have a job in cosmetics and I don't wear make-up. I'm going to have to read everything on the bottles and probably start trying some of it.

Yay! You got the job!
Congratulations! I'm really glad to hear that. *hugs Rinke* You've got as much experience as I with cosmetics, then.

Oh. My. Gosh. Is feel sorta stupid right now. I was helping to teach a music lesson, and one of the kids was doing piano theory, and the kids had to put the right amount of rests in to finish each measure. The book had some examples, and I noticed that there was a whole rest filling up one measure for a measure that had two counts. I thought it was wrong, because I've been assuming all along that a whole rest had the same amount of counts as a whole note, so I said "The book is wrong...". Then I find out that I'm just stupider than a bunch of kids that are way lower that me in their level of piano, and a whole rest just fills a whole measure, no matter the time signature. Why don't I remember this from my piano theory, which was the same as their's?
Anyway, how's everyone's week so far? I didn't realize that so many of my friends had summer birthdays...

That Misquoting thread revolves around Revolutionaries, cannibals, inappropriateness, and food (butter in particular). Oh, and insulting whoever posted last. Isn't that strange that those topics keep resurfacing???

Yeh, we certainly have some creativity between the lot of us. Strange how well we can twist each others words. Some great laughs in that thread! That and the four word story.
