I've solved that quote before in the Quote Game! I think I had a really funny guess first...
Are there anymore unsolved riddles? I should try to riddle around a bit. No fair taking and not giving back!

Gift given to the fallen
Made of leaves dead and fresh 'Twas never molten And ended up in a splash. That was some poor riddling and rhyming.

I can tell you this: Midge doesn't rhyme. I stink at that... I'll see if I can make up something from memory, but it'll probably have to wait till later when I can look good and hard at my books.

Okay, Riddlers! Here I go... *grimaces*
Standing guard over evil Yet corrupted in purpose, The might of these jaws Can be seen when they're clenched, And the bite is much worse If the mouth is wide open. *I'm looking for proper nouns and more than one!*

Yes. Specifically, I was looking for names of the Towers...
Aren't those both Hobbit surnames? Perhaps they come together to form the lineage of a person? I can't recall, though...

That's what I was thinking.. but it seems like her maiden name was longer, like Brockhouse or something.

Sorry. Those would be Narchost and Carchost.
Yes, they are hobbit surnames. When combined, can you find a relationship? A context that would be notable here in the riddling thread? Hmm??? |
