To be honest, if I couldn't have Finrod, and had to choose between Thingol and Feanor, or someone else, I would choose Morgoth before I would Thingol. I would take Feanor if he let me hold his pretty rocks.

You need to read the book again. He was obsessed with people and the goodness in them. OTOH, your man was obsessed with his jewels.

and he just loved his daughter, like all men should.or elves. He wouldn't just desert the women in his life like your prince.

My king was just a people person, and Thingol couldn't have deserted Melian even if he wanted. She was a Maia and she put a spell on him in the first place to capture his heart. Weakling that he is. We know who wore the pants in that family.

Any anti- Feanorians out there I don't care what you say, my Elf has to be Maedhros. Tall, with fiery red hair and a spirit to match!.,and all those important, "fine skills" mastered to perfection single handed. Yep, Maitimo gets my undivided attention!

(perhaps his Dad and a couple of his brothers are worth a second glance too!)

Please don't shout too loudly, I'm new here and havn't got my armour on today!!!!

Well, Maedhros is okay I guess. I thought he had black hair and Maglor had red hair.

As for the rest of his brothers: I wouldn't give them a first glance, let alone a second one. Especially those two snakes in the grass, Celegorm and Curifin.

Yeah, you're new, so be careful. You haven't met the "Stick of Wrath" yet.
