I don't know; haven't seen the trailers or seen "Mummy", but I can say I enjoyed it, for what it was. It was - well - entertaining. Inventive little story, too, about the ironclad ship being stuck in the desert and all.

Madagascar!! Now THERE'S a flick I wanna see! Love that sort of thing - I've got Finding Nemo on DVD; it's one of the DVDs I turn to when I'm feeling really depressed, to lighten me up. I can't wait to see Madagascar - and March of the Penguins, too. Can't wait to see that.

Saw Miss Congeniality 2 yesterday, it was really funny. Funny I don't remember it getting much publicity.

I know exactly what you mean! Whenever I'm stuck at home sick I watch LotR and I always feel much better by the end.

Madagascar = brilliant! 5 stars hands down!
March of the Penguins = cutest, lovable, beautiful movie another 5 -no 6 stars!

Anyway I just saw yesterday 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory' or is it 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'? Either way it was crazy!! But I absolutely loved it!!!! Though not to be confused with the original with Mr. Wilder these two movies are completely different and should be reviewed seprately. But both are wonderful and magical in their own ways.

Not one person I've ever ever asked wants to see The Chocolate Factory with me, so I'm going to see it alone before it leaves theatres and I have to yell at everyone I know for not recognizing a good movie.

I recently watched The Big Lebowsky for the first time, and then rewatched it twice already. My God, that was the funniest movie I've seen in a long, long time.

Anyone ever hear of Dorf? There's this comedian, Tim Conway, who pretends to be this Swedish midget or something... I dunno... it's awesome. I watched Dorf Goes Fishing today and LMAO. There's also Dorf on Golf, which I remember being even better.

The porn producer scribbles down a note during a phone call-- that was the best part. And the dream sequences and when he gets hit with the mug, and probably everything for that matter.

Holy crap! You've past me in post count Lotesse!

That was a killer flick, that Dead Poet's Society - the school in that movie reminds me so much of a private prep school I went to briefly, me & my little sister. It's co-ed, though, but so much like the Dead Poets Society school.

I just now watched the new movie "Crash," that new Paul Higgis film - usually I'm restless or easily distracted while watching DVDs, but for the first time in a while, this time I was RIVETed. If any of you all would like to see (pretty much) how it can be in Los Angeles, it's a good one to check out, but other than that, what an engrossing, hard-to-tear-eyes-away film this is! A couple scenes had me close to tears,(don't even THINK about saying something Spock ) all anxious at the edge of my seat and stuff - I highly reccomend it, this "Crash."

I also watched Dead Poets Society last week, one of my favourites my only problem is that we got it from a friend of my dad's, on a dvd (errm... legally, of course, ahem ) and sometimes it just stops in the player and there's no way I can make it start again. I really should buy it properly somewhere...

I saw the book in the bookstore yesterday and almost bought it - maybe I'll go back and get it.

Btw, how DID Stanley's name get on the chest? Did Zero write it on? I couldn't figure that one out!

I saw 'Four Brothers" a few days ago, i really really liked it, although it's pretty violent. But i'd still recommend it to anybody, excellent plot and cast

Ya he's really good in it so is Andre Benjamin, i was a little sketchy because usually singers don't make very good actors but he was excellent.

Beware! The following could be considered a Holes spoiler. (highlight to read)
Stanley was really Stanley Yelnats the 4th. Stanley Yelnats the 1st was rich. He was traveling, and robbed by Kissing Kate Barlow. She didn't kill him, just left him to die in the desert. (he found refuge on Gods Thumb) When he got back to civilization he fell in love with his nurse. (he thought she was an angel) I guess Kate decided to bury everything together in Stanleys suitcase.
I think that is all correct. Maybe I should go read it again, just to make sure.
