I remember being very confused when I saw that David Wenham, who plays Faramir didn't have black hair. I mentioned his "wrong" hair colour in the "SPOTTED MISTAKES!" thread. Fortunately, Éowyn was blonde in the movie

Yeah, they had wigs and/ or hair dye for almost everyone else, it seems like they could have done that for him! But he still looked good .

Hey, nothing bad about David Wenham playing Faramir. If he has feminine eyes he looks just as good as without (I did not notice that either).
but I think that David Wenham looks much prettier as Faramir than as "himself". And ... has anybody here seen Moulin Rouge? He plays this queen ... very funny compared to Faramir.

But in the book, he and his men are described as distinctly reminding Frodo of Boromir; in the movie, they are more like Aragorn.

Hmm, does anyone know where I can find a picture of this Audrey character? I must confess this is intriguing. Faramir as a lady?

Audry was the lyricist in the beginning of the film who got really hacked off when the rest suggested that he and Christian work together to write "Spectacular, Spectacular"... that is hilarious. I can't stop laughing over that.

I can't wait for the Faramir/Éowyn in RotK... I really loved it in the book, and I hope they do a good job of that in the movie. Di

Yeah, there must be a huge similarity between Boromir and Faramir in the movies. I knew that Boromir died and would not come again but his brother would appear but I know some people who irritated their similar look. My cousins were like:
Yeah, we saw a trailer. Gandolf and Boromir come back and I was like: Gandolf - yes. But not Boromir thats just his brother Faramir.

I should have NEVER looked at that pic. I'll never be able to look at Faramir the same way again.
Based on that photo, here's my guess at how they hook up in the next movie: Faramir: What do you fear m'lady? Eowyn: A cage. And you, m'lord? Faramir: A stain on my satin dress. Eowyn: Omigod. I would have never guessed. Did you know that I like to dress up as A MAN and wield a sword? Faramir: (nodding his head knowingly) I think at last we understand each other, Eowyn of Rohan. |

Disturbed your devoted love for Faramir?
And ... that scene is cool. Write a suggestion to PJ.
