Jeez... It's been out of my local theater about 3 months now. I can't find a theater anywhere around here that still has it.

It has gone here and i didn't even make double figures. It is the most I have ever seen a move (9 times, 3 with TT trailer)and the cinema dare take it off.
I have become one of the people who I used to feel sorry for. Goodbye weekends of enjoyment Goodbye Frodo and Sam (and all the cast apart from Arwen) it has gone too soon

Saw it this weekend, it is still playing here. I am not very sure it will be here after star Wars opens, though. Nearly a five-month run.....I hope it is still here May 19.

I checked the movie listings this morning, and Lord of the Rings is STILL here in the big theater! We're now coming up on five solid months, and that is great. When I saw it last weekend, there were a good fifty people there, not just two or three die-hard Tolkien fans. The film has legs.
But today, recovering from a brutal mountain climb yesterday, I will sojourn to the theaters this morn and view the new Spider-Man movie. I know it ain't anywhere near the same level as Lord of the Rings, but hey, they used the only Spider-Man story line I really got into, the Green Goblin. I'm interested in seeing how they translate that story into a screenplay. Now if only they would make a "Silver Surfer" movie......
