Well, I sure had fun discussing the finer points of reading horse ears with you, speaking of horses!

Oh! I did research the ear thing, and indeed!! We do have left and right "eared" horses! If the beast was untrained to take leads and cues in any direction, the dominant side would take over, either left or right. And once the horse is trained, the only vestige of the side dominance is in its ears! Fancy that.
Apperantly we can train them to respond with either ear, but why bother? It's cuter this way.

OMGoodness, that is just wild! Who would have guessed?! It's funny that we even noticed in the first place that it was usually one ear that did the flicky thing.

That was a cool latest post, Shah. I liked the warm, unthreatening coziness of that pub. Reminded me of some of those Ballard area fisherman's pubs out there in Seattle...
I wonder what Oreturion & Marty will be discussing. Intriguing!

Yeah, that is kinda wild! Who'da thunkit?
Lotesse, thats exactly what I was going for, seeing as I was in one when I wrote that post! Ah, tis the good life to be sure. I purposely left it open ended so that Sun-star will have a person to talk to. Heh, its gonna be fun writing for marty now that he has tried to clean up his act to impress a girl's parents!

TD, I see you!
Could you, please, post Khamul's and Udu's talk? Make the Chancellor appear at the end of it, if you don't mind. |

Okay will do. Great post Udu, but just one thing. It seems strange to me that the Chancellor would let his lesser spies know the dentity of whom they are spying for. They are spies, and I doubt Ilmenzor trusts them to keep his identity secret. PLus Oreturion already suspects something sinister in Tharbad. If he knew the Chancellor had spies in Tharbad he would suspect the Chancellor of something sinister.

Val, never suspected you wrote songs... but I loved it ... all it needs is a tune, really! Very funny and clever! Gordis is right, you should put it up here...

It has a tune, or i think it does...Val, is it going by the same tune the beach boys used in california girls? Its a good song, But i really would think that "Back in U-M-B-A-R You dont know how lucky you are" would top the charts...*starts whislting the song*

Okay. Have posted Khamûl's account of what happened at the Gladden.
Gor The Chancellor has entered and bought Sapthan with him. Sapthan will now meet the man who has taken the position he so wanted.

TD, well, if you want to meet Sapthan now, I believe he can come say Hi to Galadannun. But that will require Udu to change the last two lines of his previous post, making the Chancellor take Sapthan to the Library. Have you asked Udu to do this?
Udu, Is it OK to ask you to post Sapthan's introduction to the hated Galadannun and his impressions now? Or you had other ideas? And TD AWESOME POST! I loved Khamul's story and couldn't find a single problem with it. Very nice touch about the Dark Lord and the Elves of Mirkwood. Speaking of awesome posts, I am afraid I missed telling you how I liked yours, Shah . You are truly a great writer. |

TD, that was REALLY a killer post! I so enjoyed reading Khamul's account of things that he went through and did. It's been a while since we've gotten treated with some meaty Khamul dialogue, but that was really worth the wait. VERY cool!

Sun-star & Shah - That was a terrific exchange. It was nice to be able to feel the relationship & rapport between the elder Oreturion and Martalion. I liked that conversation a lot. i really appreciated the fact that Marty didn't see anything "gossipworthy" or worrying about our little Orrodel House - whew! Can't tell y'all how GOOD it feels to finally get to read a character saying something NICE about Orrodel & its family, instead of all the constant negativity.
GREAT POSTS!!
