Wow.. the things you talk about in my absence... *shakes head* And you guys were talking about how it felt to be a type of material.. how would it feel to be hugging someone's nether regions that tightly? Actually, now that we all mention it, I vote we start a committee against the mistreatment of undergarments!
Well, it's either a used mattress or no washer and dryer. My parents have offered to buy us one nice thing, and it's probably going to be one of those two things.

I just looked through the posts here. It doesn't seem my sister or brother-in-law had stopped in recently here. They've been a bit busy lately, as have I. How are all of you?

*gives Sane a belated glomp that she'll prolly never react to* hehe
*Glomps Amanda* Seems they are either doing a lot of lurking or they're really busy with the twins Speaking of bridesmaids... I was orginally going to have 3 then it ended up being one due to the fact i ended up having a itty bitty wedding in my apartment. Get a washer and dryer. It will pay for itself in the long run. And trust me it beats having to go to the laundry mat to do your clothes. The mattress me and hubby have is a hand-me-down.

I was wondering if I was going too far. However, I thought we had to look at it from all the angles to be fair. Moving on.

I've decided that it's not having a secondhand mattress that bothers me (I currently sleep on my parents' old one) so much as the IDEA of buying something that personal secondhand. You don't know who's touched it. For example, we went to a flea market and they had some there really cheap, but as we were looking, some guy who was yelling mean things at his kids comes up and starts pawing them over. My thoughts were 1) this is kind of gross because I have NO clue what kind of life he leads and 2) I'd rather leave the ones that are affordable for people who really can't afford anything more. Anyway, I told him it would probably work best if he just went out and found one, bought it if he liked it and didn't tell me ANYTHING about where he got it. I trust him.

I have managed to compose a fair minute for a piece of music, which I intend to be about < 3min. And should I get enough positive feedback, I'll put it on youtube for you to listen. It may be ready at the end of next week.
Just music, you couldn't make me sing even if you paid me a million. And I won't write any lyrics for it, it'll be instrumental. Though I guess I should probly get that new keyboard before playing seriously... Oh right, it's called "Fairy". If it ends up in youtube, should anyone of you want, I'll send the tabs for it, so you can learn. ...Am I being extremely arrogant here, assuming someone would actually want to learn it? And of course, Congrats Midge! Here's a song for you and your to-be- hubbie; I found this singer recently and think she's great: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYqWg...eature=related Sorry, don't have anything better to give ya.

Mmmmm, my sister and I just made a huge batch of pigs in a blanket . Which is where you stuff a sausage (and cheese if you want, I guess) into dough (we used biscuit mix) and then bake it.
It's sooooooo good. O_o Mmmm, deliciousness!!! There are even some left over for tomorrow morning (assuming I get up in time and they're not all gone by the time I get downstairs ). So IN OTHER NEWS:.... I took a nap this afternoon (because I friggin' love meh some naps!!!) and woke up in a total panic thinking it was Monday and I had just missed all of the first day of my classes. :P |

I'm flying on my magical flying carpet right now, weeeeeeeee!
No really, I'm typing this post on the Entmoot and having a cup of tea at 2:05 AM. It's SWEET! Snowball fights. Hmm. That's something I haven't thought of for a while! There's a lot of snow, and a lot of snow that can potentially become sphere-shaped projectiles! Must cause snowball fight today! Yay 40 posts for me!

I've never had a semester like this, where I only have classes on TWR, so Monday and Friday are sort of like part of the weekend, except I have to work.

Note to self: Do not practice voice if you've barely slept the last two days. If you do practice, don't record yourself. If you do record yourself, don't listen to it. If you do listen to it... well that's your own problem. LOL
Sooo tired, but my first day of classes went well, and I'm starting my new regimen of SUPER STUDY! This is gonna be a 4.0 semester if I have anything to say about it, and I'm getting on top of it right now. I've already made flash cards, studied the subjects I have, and now I'm gonna do some music memorization, possibly some music theory, and then try to get to bed at a decent hour. Urgh. So all in all a pretty super day on my end. How was everyone else's day? *sips some tea* I assume she means Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Typically, in America, T= Tuesday, W= Wednesday, and 'Th' or 'R'= Thursday. I personally do Th, but a lot of people prefer the R. Last edited by Tessar : 01-11-2010 at 10:41 PM. |

Yeah, that's pretty much it. I continue to forget about my Wednesday night class, when making plans, etc., and I forgot why I typed in the W there. I was about to tell you I'd messed up! But I didn't. I have a Wednesday night class.

"And we're back with the Moots playing this all new session of Mootified State songs, beginning with Alabama..."
Entmoot, Entmoot, We will aye be true to thee, From thy Southern shores where groweth, By the sea thy orange tree. To thy Northern vale where floweth, Deep blue the Tennessee, Entmoot, Entmoot, we will aye be true to thee! Broad thy stream whose name thou bearest; Grand thy Bigbee rolls along; Fair thy Coosa-Tallapoosa Bold thy Warrior, dark and strong, Goodlier than the land that Moses Climbed lone Nebo's Mount to see, Entmoot, Entmoot, we will aye be true to thee! From thy prairies broad and fertile, Where thy snow-white cotton shines, To the hills where coal and iron Hide in thy exausted mines, Strong -armed miners -sturdy farmers; Loyal hearts what'er we be, Entmoot, Entmoot, we will aye be true to thee! From thy quarries where the marble White as that of Paros gleams Waiting till thy sculptor'ss chisel, Wake to life thy poet's dreams; Fear not only wealth of nature, Wealth of mind has no fee, Entmoot, Entmoot, we will aye be true to thee! Where the perfumed south-wind whispers, Thy magnolia groves among, Softer than a mother's kisses, Sweeter than a mother's song, Where the golden jasmine trailing, Woos the treasure-laden bee, Entmoot, Entmoot, we will aye be true to thee! Brave and pure thy men and women, Better this than corn and wine Make us worthy, God in Heaven Of this goodly land of Thine. Hearts as open as thy doorways. Liberal hands and spirits free. Entmoot, Entmoot, we will aye be true to thee! Little, little can I give thee, Entmoot, mother mine. But that little - hand, brain, spirit. All I have and am are thine. Take, O take, the gift and giver. Take and serve thyself with me. Entmoot, Entmoot, we will aye be true to thee http://www.50states.com/midi/0al.mid |
