HoME IV The Shaping of Middle-earth (need to double check on this one)
HoME V The Lost Road and other writings HoME XI The War of the Jewels I sure IV does but since I don't have the book around I'm guessing. But in either IV or V is where the legend first appeared. XI contains the last writings he did on Maeglin.

Thank you both! I want to read them in order, and I figure I have plenty of time before I do my ch., but since I plan to read The Silm again (as per your suggestion in the other thread, MB ), I want to skip ahead a little.

Well, if no one else does it, I'll do it, but as you know, I haven't read any of the supporting materials. I'll wait a couple of days, and in the meantime re-read that ch., and if by that time no one has volunteered, I'll make an attempt, if you think that would be okay. I'd hate for it not to continue, it's been so helpful to me so far! |

azalea, here is a link to a book list that contains links to where you can buy the books online.
http://onering.virbius.com/booklist.php It's also a good site, that's where I found this board.

Sounds good to me, SGH.
Uh oh, the pressure's on. Thanks for that link, MB. I just got through w/ a VERY bad experience buying a book online, so I think I'll try to find a bookstore before I attempt the online thing again, though! |
