Geez, I was hoping for some discussion on some other parts of the link. You people have dirty minds.

Oh, but we'd much rather have dirty minds and talk about that...
I'm really glad they kept the stuff with Eomer and Gimli--and i hope they include the Galadriel bit, too!

on a more serious note - if you can raise yourselves from the gutter for just a moment - I was showing the fledgling ringers at work the new trailer and one bright spark made the comment that " not many bloody riders there is there " -. In hindsight they do look a bit short on manpower dont they ? ok back into the gutter !!! didnt dwarf tossing become a big thing, as in a dwarf would wear a velcro suit and be thrown onto a velcro wall ? i think it was big in pubs or something ?

LOLOL! Ok, what is Jackson's fixation with tossing dwarves?
The first time I saw FOTR, there were 5 of us - hyperactive teenagers between 14 and 16 - in a cinema of completely die hard fans with no sense of humour! So when the line "Nobody tosses a dwarf" came up we all collapsed in hysterics and got angry whispers from the rest of the audience. We tried to be quiet about it. Seriously though, they didn't even laugh at the Merry and Pippin bits, and they're meant to be funny! Obviously toss means only one thing down under.

Now this is funny. Heh, heh...although it may become an attack of the really bad slash as EG said, it is soooo funny. *hysterical laughter*

That is so funny! Rather detracts from the little dignity Gimli already has, though

You're worried about attacks of slash from these two lines? What about ROTK???
OK, considering that not everyone here may have read the books, I won't spoil so I'll just say that if PJ doesn't do a certain bit right, the amount of slash will multiply by 100000000! Though, of course, I have no doubts about certain people - not looking at anyone here - and their ideas about this one. Brace for impact! *ducks* Lanelf.

Really, when I posted that link I wasn't thinking about that kind of tossing, I was thinking it was a funny reference to the FOTR. Anyway, I'm sure PJ will know how it could be interpreted. When I watch the TT, I am sure I will get a fit of giggles at that line.
Since no one will discuss the other items in the link, I will. The part about Arwen watching Aragorn die will be very sad, you'll probably guess I will be crying at that moment. Aragorn's body fades to stone, which I don't think happened in the book. Aragorn is human, so why would that happen?
