1) Star Wars Saga (I count them together... a whole two years intermission)
2) LotR (same as Star Wars, 'cept half the intermission)
3) Life is Beautiful

Dont know if i can give specific rankings but of course LoTR is awesome, i also love the british versions of The Chronicles of Narnia, the star trek series is also high on my list. As far as when i was younger i was a big yogi bear/alvin and the chipmunks fan

Ooh. Another couple of movies that I'm an absolute sucker for are: Grease, and Dirty Dancing. They both have such great soundtracks....

O my gosh, Elvet, YES YES YES to Pride and Prejudice, all six hours!

Also, the Star Wars series and hmmm I guess Gone with the Wind.

I really cannot whittle all of my favorites down to 3 since there are so many genres, but I'm picking those along the same lines as someone above -- movies I can watch over and over that are really good and I don't get sick of them.

Okay, there's absolutely no way my list is getting any narrower than this, so here's a list of twenty movies that could be in my top three on any given day...

In a very approximate and dynamic order (most favourite near the top):

Casablanca
The Lord of the Rings (what we've seen so far, anyway)
Star Wars (all five)
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Brazil
Singin' in the Rain
Toy Story (both)
Lawrence of Arabia
West Side Story
The Wizard of Oz
Braveheart
Moulin Rouge!
Fight Club
The Sound of Music
The Big Sleep
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Saving Private Ryan
The Godfather
L.A. Confidential
Doctor Zhivago

Plus all the ones that I temporarily forget... likely many

Hah. Fight Club has nothing on Mulholland Drive, or the Lost Highway. If you want a head ****, watch them.

In no particular order...

The Matrix (top notch action and top b****** soundtrack)
Fear of a Black Hat (very, very funny)
Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels (both)

FOTR was very good, must be in the top ten at least.

1) Pride and Predjudice (The one with Greer Garson and Lawerence Olivier)
2) Fellowship of the Ring (hey, let's be original here )
3) Shanghai Noon (It was funny! Admit it, it was funny.)

I love movies, and lots of types, so there are tons more that I love, but those are three that I could watch over and over. And subsequently do.
