Oops. Forgot Gandalf:
-Gollum -Sam -Isildur -Frodo -Gandalf Hmmmmmm, he bumps Eru off the list. (I know, without Eru there would be no Gandalf, but I'm me, okay?)

Well other then Valar and such I'd say.
1. Gollum- Distroyed the ring 2. Frodo- Got the ring to Mt. Doom 3. Sam- Without him Frodo coulden't have gotten to Mt. Doom 4.Gandalf 5. Aragorn Yes I have read the silmirion but I like LOTR better. |

Hm, in no particular order:
-Eru -Earendil the Mariner -Cirdan the Shipwright (don't ask me why, he's just cool... ) -Aragorn -Beleg Erg, I want to put Tar-Miriel on there too! Oh well, maybe she could bump Cirdan, or Eru... *ponders* Question: is this supposed to be a favorite character list or a most important character list? *rereads post* oh, darn, well those are my favorite characters...*looks sheepish* For most important characters: -Eru -Melkor -Earendil -Gandalf -Gollum |

1) Eru.
2) Morgoth. 3) Gandalf. 4) Frodo. 5) Aragorn (a centralisation of focussing of the "clean up" operation/War of the Ring.)

The top 5 characters in the Fellowship are:
1) Frodo-Getting the Ring to Mount Doom 2)Aragorn-Helped Frodo and when Frodo got stabbed he got rid of the Riders and gave him to Arwen to take to Rivendell. 3) Legolas-Finished off the monsters like the troll. 4)Gandalf 5)Merry and Pippin- Very funny We could definitely do without Arwen (Liv Tyler)!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Eru-- created the world
Melian-- joined the race of Maiar with the race of Elves Luthien-- regained one of the Silmarils by dancing before Morgoth Gandalf-- helped Bilbo to depart on the quest where he found the One Ring Samwise-- carried Frodo up the slope of Mt. Doom

I think limiting this to only five, makes the choices difficult. I can think of so many more.
