I am wondering if whether or not Mr Lennon and Professor T. are jamming right beside you two F.B.-B. and BeardofPants!
It took me a few minutes to sing all of 'em twice. I especially liked Gandalf in the Sky with Diamante. Brilliant!

Here's one mangled from The Rolling Stones' Paint It Black (Jagger/Richards)
Melt in Crack (of Doom) I see the One Ring and I want to make it crack No Fellowship no more I just want it to crack I see the orcs walk by dressed in their orcish garb I have to hide the ring 'hope Shelob will just starve I see a mine of dwarves and they're all rotting black With Balin and his kin, none ever to come back I see Pippin tip the arms and quickly look away Like a foolofatook it just happens ev'ryday I look inside myself and see my heart ain't black I see the One Ring and it hasn't turned me back Maybe then I'll fade away and not face the Dooming Crack It's not easy questing east when that whole world is black No more will my sword Sting go turn a deeper blue I could not forsee this ring being worn by you If I sneak well enough past the orcs that run My Sam will laugh with me before the eagles come I see the One Ring and I want make it crack No Fellowship no more I just want it to crack I see the orcs walk by dressed in their orcish garb I have to hide the ring 'hope Shelob will just starve Hmm, hmm, hmm... I wanna see it melt in Crack, melt in Crack Samath Naur, Crack of Doom I wanna see eagles and Gandalf in the sky I wanna see it melted, melted, melted, melt or Crack Yeah

Wow, the partnership between you two mad people sparkles and shines like...
* * * * * * ** * * **A SPARKLY SHINY THING** * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Ooh, come to think of it... A RING. But you cant make that out of asterixes. P.S. I've given up on the 'You give love' one, is too hard. I think Im going to try The Beautiful South's, 'Look What I Found In My Beer'. 'Look What I Found In Mt Doom'...or similar. P.P.S. Are the Beautiful South British or American, and, more to the point, has anybody heard of them? If you don't, think of that great 1998 hit, Perfect 10. It may jog your memory.

Ooh, this one came quickly. I just got out the words and...whoosh, it just whoosed into my brain. Oh, no, hold on...ah, that's better, the window's closed. You see, the wooshing's stopped now.
Can't think of a title, it's too general. But is based around FotR. Look What I Found In My Beer-The Beautiful South (Quench). Gandalf: Look what I found in the Shire, A couple of dancing hobbits and Bilbo on his way outta here, Look what I've found in the hobbit hole, The One Ring resting just as it was foretold. Legolas and Gimli: (Not enough verses for each to have one.) Look what he found in his hair, A knot that no amout of brushing would get rid of without help, Look what he found up a tree, A dwarf with a comb who was willing to help: Gimli. Aragorn: Look what I found in Rivendell, The Sword That Was Broken, so I thought, 'what the hell,' Look what I found at Council, A bad-tempered man from opposite Minas Morgul. Frodo: (chorus) Look what I found with the Elves, A beautiful Elven lady who's called Galadriel, Look what I found in a leaf, A bread called Lembas which is really quite yummy, Look what I found in a leaf. Sam: Look what I found in my pot, Dirty food which Pippin had forgotten to get rid off, Look what I found in my pack, Merry'd eaten my food so I thought I'd give him a whack! Boromir: Look what I found in the wood, A load of lousy orcs who shoot before they look, Look what I found in t'Anduin, A great big waterfall that makes an awful din. Merry: Look what I found in Maggot's field, A very lively Pippin with a perfect carrot to weild, Look what I found in forest, Frodo and Sam beginning on their quest, Frodo: (chorus) Look what I found with the Elves, A beautiful Elven lady who's called Galadriel, Look what I found in a leaf, A bread called Lembas which is really quite yummy, Look what I found in a leaf. Pippin: Look what I found at Bilbo's, A dragon firework that itched at my nose, Look what I found down a hill, My carrot was broken, only good enough for pig swill, It all makes the knees feel weak, The fellowship strong, Hey, hey hey.

Such great songs! I'm away for a few days, and look what is here when I return! I was thinking about the song, but the whole album is great too. . .I was going to do some of those, but that's alright. . .
Hey! I already did 'All Rings Must Pass!!' *sniff* do my songs get any respect around here?

Ow! Ach, that was quite some staffbap! But I deserved it. Say, which page is yours on? I would like to see it. I may be able to convince my ent of a computer to become hasty enough to download that page, as it is only one page, not thirteen. And, songbook? Which songbook?
Oh, last question, She's Leaving Home and Lovely Rita haven't been used yet, have they? I don't want to accidentally write someone else's song.

I don't think anyone's using them, but can I have Lovely Rita? Please? I dunno what page my song is on, though. The songbook is a compilation of all the songs found here, which I compiled. I can send it to you once I update it, if you so wish.

Well... All right. I have already written my Lovely Rita, but I'm feeling guilty about taking your song. So, you can use it *after* mine is posted, as with yours.
Yes, I'd love a copy! PM it to me when you have finished. Oh, and thank you everyone else for you marvellous replies! It's encouraging me to do more. (Evil cackle.) You'll never get rid of me now...

Insanity strikes yet again to bring you:
He's Leaving Home Hea'nsday morning at dawn o' sun, as the day begins, Silently closing his larder door, Leaving the note, and a small something more He goes down the hall to the kitchen clutching his handkerchief. Quietly turning the round-door key Hopping outside, he is free. He (We gave him most of our knives,) is leaving (Trapped his mice which gave us hives) home. (Left us here with no honey to get by.) He's leaving home, After hearing us sing off-tone for so many years. Bye-bye. Frodo snores as Samwise gives the weeds a dressing-down Picks up the letter that's been blown out there. Standing alone among out-door cookware, He plops down, and cries to his master, "Frodo! Sir, Bilbo's gone! Why would he trot off so thoughtlessly? And why didn't he take me?" He (We should have gone there ourselves.) is leaving (Never have thought for ourselves.) home (Say, what is this thing that he left you, and why?) He's leaving home before he would groan with his many years. Highday morning at the Carrock (Bilbo's far away,) Waiting to see and elf or elven maid, Who can lead him down to Rivendell's glade. He (May I please put his Ring on?) is having (Why can't I put his Ring on?) fun. (Only when the S.-B.s go bumbling by?) (Something I hide, and which must be denied for so many years...) He's leaving home, bye-bye.

It's okay, F.B.-B. seeing as you already wrote it. I'll just go back and look for other songs to do. Unless you want to see my verion It's okay, anyone can make that mistake, not seeing a song, it's all good. And I know there are some songs here that have been done elsewhere anyway...but *ever loyal to entmoot* I like these better

Lovely Rosie
Lovely Rosie-posie maid. Lovely Rosie-posie maid. Lovely Rosie-posie maid, Frodo has come between us, When it gets light I'll be whisked right away. Standing on my furry tosies When I caught a glimpse of Rosie; Peeling off taters by a trickling brook. Her hair up, she looked much older, >From what I could see over my shoulder. Made me look quite silly with that mud on my hands. Lovely Rosie-posie maid, May I please ask you quite sweetly, Would you be free For second tea with me? But I went out, (and got much thinner,) Gone a year, and missed our dinner. I had to go, Rosie, Frodo's a dear close friend. We journeyed home, (We barely made it,) We saw elves, and lembas (and ate it,) Sitting in Rivendell with a high elf or two. Lovely Rosie-posie maid, Where would I be without you? Out on the brink, But still I'd think of you. All right, now you may post your Rita.

Eruviel: Well, if you have written it, post it! Artists are always self-critical. It's probably spectacular.
Beard: I didn't mean to leave you out! For the record, everyone, Beard was my editor/collaborator on He's Leaving Home. Oh, and Arathorn? How did you know Mr. Lennon was with us? Yes, he's here: In my bookshelf, on my LP covers, in a frame in the common room... He might be with Beard too, but I'll have to confirm that.

Don't worry, F.B.-B. I haven't written it yet. But I just found some more to do: (someone tell me quick if they've been done! )
Hey Jude (I'm going to have to mangle Frodo's name on this one) Back in the U.S.S.R. and You're going to lose that girl I don't know if I'll actually write all of them, but those are my next targets.
