'Finding Nemo' was good, and not too full of sentimentality (like 'Lilo and Stich' was ) Now I can't stop saying, 'Mine!' 'Mine! Mine! Mine!'
Did anyone else who's seen it think that there'd maybe been some bits cut out? Perhaps if they release a DVD there will be more bits in it. |

Young Adam
Saw this on Friday. Excellent performances, especially by Ewan McGregor. Go and see this film if you like atmospheric cinematography, slow, ambiguous plots, dank surroundings and lots of dirty bits. There is a particularly disturbing scene involving custard and tomato sauce..... don't take your granny (unless you and your granny have a particularly modern relationship)

Eeeew! I've been looking forward to this one - just because of the inland waterways boats.
But now ... Not tomato sauce. I can't bear tomato sauce. Not in any way. Even the smell of it makes me feel sick .... Bother! |

The last good movie I saw was Finding Nemo. It was great to see (hear) all those great Aussie actors and accents. The computer graphics were beautifully done.

Though, of course, you don't actually get to see it because that would be obscene |

Just saw 'The Great Race'. A little corny, a little silly, but definatly funny!
Also 'Shooting The Past'. I didn't watch all of it, but Andy Serkis has a teeny role in it, which makes an otherwise boring movie worth mentioning.

I saw 28 days later last night. It was pretty good - quite creepy (and not just because of the zombies.) Also saw SWAT a couple of weeks ago... that was alright.

Yeah. It was a loud, violent, Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition.
What was the point of Crispin Glover's character?

28 days later was an awesome film, especially loved Frank he's just such a classy actor...
been watching Once Were Warriors and What Becomes of the Broken Hearted? again, fantastic films and i just recently figured out that the actor that plays Grunt, Nig's gang's leader, is the maori that plays Lurtz i just think that both movies have some of the greatest acting (DDL standard )... Nig Heke is still easily the greatest and i also think that Dooley is cool as (he also plays Apeman in WBotBH?)... Temeura Morrison was on Burke's Backyard the other night and i was just hoping he'd drop Burke with his Taiaha, Don Burke is such a wanker

I saw Kill Bill-- if people don't mind fake blood...it is the funniest movie of the year. The premise of it is laughable in it of itself, the conversations intelligence is none existant, and Uma Thurman is one monotone chick.
Identity--Very good, the premise of this was interesting, and somewhat hard to piece together...although...
When I was going up the stairs, I met a man who wasn't there, He wasn't there again today, I wish, I wish he'd go away!

Back OT. Um, I saw Minority Report the other day. It was pretty good, but I still cannot believe you can predict the future. And I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark last night. Harrison Ford is such a dream...
