There may be flaws with the upcoming Star Wars but remember Return of the Jedi had those Ewoks and it turned out ok :P

I truly don't understand Star Wars. I mean I've seen most of them and It's justy like wars in space. And the whole Darth Maul, Darth Vader, luke, anikan situation Who came first? Whose the father of who?

I watched The Empire Strikes Back on TV the other night and found an inconsistency. When Luke goes to Dahgobah (sp?), Yoda and Obi-Wan argue about Luke. Yoda says "he's too headstrong", etc. Obi-Wan says, "Was I any different when you trained me?" But in Episode I Obi-Wan was trained by Qui-Gon. Just something I noticed.

WARNING: POSSIBLE AOTC SPOILERS IN THIS POST
Ya, that made me think. My theory is that in Ep II, since Yoda is revealeved as the one who trains all the young Jedi, then he must have trained Obi Wan when he was little before he was an apprentice to Qui Gon. |

LoL
My theory about Jar Jar in EpII is that he dies (he's assasinated for motioning for palp to be emperor or hes a decoy for padme and gets killed). But nothing has leaked out because Lucas has kept it top secret. Only a few people at ILM, who are working on his death, know about it. It also wasn't in the rough cut that Harry Knowles saw either. It's just like how they kept the whole Darth Vader being Luke's father thing secret while making ESB. Just a theory. But if it's true, I said it first. |

And he could die a million different ways....he could easily get himself killed just walking. Quote:
Ani = Vader, and Vader is Luke's father. Darth Maul was Palpy's apprentice. Palpy = Sidious. Get it? |

I have always wondered about the timeline. How many years elapsed between Episode I and A New Hope? The ages of the characters don't seem to match with how much time has gone by.
(Obi-Wan seems to be early 20s in Phantom Menace, and late 60s in A New Hope, but that means forty years plus would have elapsed and if Luke is conceived in this next Episode that would make him older than he was in A New Hope). |
