Blind Guardian
Erm, this may be somewhat off-topic, but I'm just curious to know if you some of you guys know the german metal band Blind Guardian. I've found a link to some of their songs over at tolkientrail and wondered if there are some metalheads out there who share my passion for this really cool band. So, come on BG loonies, where are you? Share your thoughts!
For those of you who don't know them: The guys are quite into fantasy, and a good number of their songs are middle-earth related. I've you don't know them, step over to the rivendell section and listen! this will blow your head! For further listening pleasure, I would highly recommend taking a close look at their 'Nightfall in Middle-earth' album, which is about stories from the Silmarillion. BTW: When I first heard rumours of LOTR being turned into a movie, my first thought was: hey, these guys doin the soundrack, that would really make my day! (Well, perhaps a speed-metal soundtrack wouldn't have made everyone's day...)
