Airplane! is one of the best movies ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also heard Momento was really good...but haven't gotten a chance to see it yet. We did this before...but I'll list all my favorite movies in no particular order: Star Wars (all) 2001: A Space Odessey History of the World Part 1 Airplane! A Clockwork Orange Dr. Strangelove (or, how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb) Young Frankenstein Planet of the Apes Gladiator The Matrix There's definately a lot I'm probably forgetting. |

Gladiator and the Matrix were both awesome!
She's All That was good for a chick flick, even if it doesn't rate that high on the overall movie scale. Scream, in my opinion, was a comedy. And even so it was pretty bad. Other good movies: The Sixth Sense Mulan The Princess Bride Contact Psycho Dead Poets Society Interview With the Vampire Romeo and Juliet (no Leonardo DiCaprio jokes, please. I think he's god-awful ugly. But it was a good movie!) Worst: What Lies Beneath Blair Witch Project I Know What You Did Last Summer

"Favourites" are not the same as "best"... but the two lists overlap here and there anyway. It's just that I wouldn't put monumental/moving/profound pictures such as Schindler's List, 2001, Requiem for a Dream, etc. under "favourite" because entertainment value wasn't what I loved about them...
Favourites that come to mind first... listing all my favourites would take WAY too long Brazil Star Wars (all) Indiana Jones (all, esp. Raiders) Singin' in the Rain West Side Story The Wizard of Oz Toy Story (both) Lawrence of Arabia E.T.: The Extraterrestial Fight Club Braveheart Saving Private Ryan ... and a whole ton I LOVE that I'm too lazy to list right now.

Movies
I have to agree w/ you about the Land Before Time. Some movies are good with a long series, but others are just stupid. Star Wars? Yes. LBT? No!!!!! 8 is waaaaaaay too many. I mean, the first one was OK......when I was like, 7!
