Sorry Again ...
Maybe I won't be here often for the next few weeks... Life still had a trick for me in her sleeve.
My little brother had a BIG, REALLY big accident last Saturday at Montréal. In fact, Xivigg told me that less than 1% of those having a similar accident survive... And for now, he'll live but he still may lose is feet. But, we have lots of hopes as he getting better. I know lots of you entmooters are great christians, so I'll ask you a favor: pray for my brother this week. And if you ask Gil, yes it's the same brother I once told you about, and more, the accident was DIRECTLY caused by what I told you then. So now sorry again, but I'll be somehow less available for the coming weeks! |

in sympathy...
I wish you and your family all of the best in your time of trouble. And there is no pain that cannot be overcome as long as you are together, trite as that may sound.
I, for one, will think positive and strong thoughts for you. Peace, Ether |

I'll pray for him, Shanamir.
Now go and "get your life in order" (in the words of my football coach).
Don't worry about us... your family needs you. |

I'm sorry that your brother was hurt, Shanamir. I hope that you and your family will be comforted and strengthened, even if things don't turn out as you would like them to.

Re: I'll pray for him, Shanamir.
Goodness.
I have found that there is a lot more need for prayer for my friends on the Internet than I ever imagined. After tragic accidents, life is often far harder than before. Especially for young men who survive such things, with the potential to be maimed or crippled for life. Life itself can seem unbearable for such as these. There certainly shall be prayers lifted up for your brother, for his body and for his soul. But it sometimes happens that the hand of God spares some from death for purposes that will be exalted in the light of Eternity. The lame and the weak, the last in line, are often found to be first when all is said and done. How many are the tales through history of how the breaking of a body was the forging of a spirit. Or how the tragic circumstances of one led to the redemption of another, for the sake of many more. How many of us have narrowly been saved from disaster? How often have the deciding events of history been determined by little known turns of events and what seemed at the time the tragedies of little known individuals? And what shall come of all of this? |

Thank you guys!
Thanks everybody for your support... I greatly appreciate. I didn't see him yet, but my parents told me he's getting better and that he realised things with that.
Saturday I'll go to Montreal to see him, thought he doesn't know it yet, I'll surprise him. Thanks again! |

Re: Awesome.
May the Force be with you, Shanamir. And with your brother also.
PS, I know this isn't a STar Wars board, but I love to say that line. And its always a good thing to have the Force with you, no matter what you call it. |

Re: Awesome.
a LOTR equivalent of that could be "May the stars shine upon your face".
and it fits very well with my new user pic. i finally killed that ugly fool and have replaced it with the lady Elbereth. |
