Artichokes should be left green, cause that's their natural color... no white pasty goop.
Onions aren't evil.. I think you're confusing Onions with Onion-breath. After eating an onion-laden meal, take a couple hundred swigs of mouth wash (or alcohol if you're a "MANLY ELF"  )Peppers are good... red green and yellow.. cooked or raw. Ahh the crunch.
