The golden crown (and this part I'm not so sure of) refers to the moon that is illuminating the whole scene

Seriously KK - this is a brilliant little riddle - I laughed out loud when the answer came to me. Kudos my friend! I wish I could come up with gems like this! Of course, if I'm wrong, I'm taking back this whole last paragraph.
Well, dang. Your riddle is better than mine! I should change the wording "gold crown" to "silver crown", and there you would have it.

As it is, you need to keep seeking the solution.
