Yeah, Swinton is now up there with Hilary Swank in the "Highly Ambiguous Actresses" category.

The palette, as you say, of a movie or piece of art is a big deal to me.

I love it. Some directors don't really do too much with the colour scheme, which is okay . . . but so much better when you get the stuff. I just saw the film version of Sweeney Todd, and loved its incredibly dour and gloomy palette, splashed up with the ridiculous cartoony blood.
