It pleased Tabrîl that Abasi had joined them. As always, she enjoyed his company, and his thoughts on the strange tale that Barufiniel told would be most welcome. She considered his words for a moment, considered the possible insult that had been dealt this Fëanor, and then nodded fractionally, agreeing with his assessment.

What Abasi did next was a thing she did not expect, and she gazed back at him, her eyes meeting his, knowing exactly what it was that he asked. He had pleased her, that was certain, she would not think of indicating otherwise. Yet to move forward, to progress with this as if there were nothing standing in their way? Tabrîl did not know if she thought that was proper.

It was not the time, however, for Tabrîl to think on it overmuch, and her hand moved to his t'rai at her belt, her fingers brushing against his, gently.

'I keep it,' she said quietly in their own language. It was all that she said, but it was enough for him to understand.
