Well, that's what I thought, but Lucy was so soft and proddable and very purty.
 If I remember correctly she was a cornsnake or something? About 1 meter, not too big, but with wrong colouring. I was supposed to go play with the 2 meter snakes of my former classmate, but due to sickness that didn't happen (yet). Besides: some snakes eat bugs. They can't be that bad if they eat nasty bugs
