I liked Sis' proposal though. There are so many people here that I admire, appreciate and/or like and they all deserve to be acknowledged, but not everything and everyone fits in these categories.
I'd like to get to know more posters, and I hate leaving people out.

What would it be like, to be busy traveling during the election period, find your way back to Entmoot, and find a list of 'winners" composed of people you've barely heard of? It's like going to college and coming back to find your room made into a sewing room.

Where's my cat poster? Who took my lamp?

I know people are all about competetion, and I appreciate the attention that's been paid to me, in this thread. That makes me feel valued.

But I don't like the feel of this. I think it's set up to do more harm than good. Particularly with young people. I mean, there are some great younger posters, and I'd like them included. I think about our Tessar, who started here young. Maybe it would have been harder for him to participate, not being nominated for "most eloquent", and we'd have lost him then. That would SUCK!

No, I'm not emo. I just have a really poor sense of direction. (Thanks to katya for this quote)
