Heh, Oblivion is a PC (and now other console) game that Noble and I both play. It's pretty alright for a standard game, but other players like us have made our own additions to the game that make it better. Its called modding, or modification. Other intrepid players like ourselves post them on file sharing sites like Tesnexus (a site for Oblivion) and download other people's mods and upload our own.
Its a community effort, and it pays off quite nicely and allows people to update,, expand and add what they want to an already cool game. We also comment and critique each others mods. You can add entirely new data and events/storylines/structures/people/you name it to the game. It is limited, really, by your own imagination. So far I am happy with my mods (mostly just retexturing [Ie redrawing in photoshop] armor to make it look better.) It's a fun way to waste time. |
