"Temporary" Venting Thread IV

Third visit to the vet for Jinx in four weeks. Not good. Down to 3 kilos and won't eat without severe coaxing. At least he likes the cooked fish well enough, even if we think he can't smell it anymore. Kidney much enlarged and fused to spine, likely carcinogenic. Can't be dealt with. At least he's not in pain, just calmer. If it continues like this, he won't even make August. Next evaluation in two weeks. But we prefer knowing this instead of not knowing at all. Still have at least those two weeks.
