The night awoke.
Darkness descended on the camp as the fire faded to a small, crackling light, casting a faint veil on the companions lying all around it. The cool air found its way to Quickleaf, making him slowly feel sleepier, his eyes shutting, and he lay to rest with his cloak cast upon his body.
