But actually I meant the huge jellyfish which you said had been documented, not the implausible giant ones. I found the article, here. The picture seemed genuine enough. Then again, I'm easily fooled in these things.

Yeah, those washing machine sized things floating around in Japan are so big they're scary. There are some photos of them being pulled up in nets with no fish, just jellyfish.

It could be possible that, if a jellyfish got enough food, it could grow to monster proportions, but it is scary to think so.
