I don't mean this post to be a continuation of the debate in the Theology Thread at all.

I just want to apologize to Lotesse for my comment in that thread, on post 358. I was feeling pressured and didn't know how to respond to your posts, so I hoped to deflect some of the ill feeling that had entered the debate by diverting attention to something completely trivial. It was a pathetic and dismal attempt at humor. I didn't mean to come across that way, but I should have thought about how I would have felt if someone said that to me, before I posted.

I am really sorry, Lotesse.

And for everyone else, for my share in hurting the debate in the Theology Thread, I apologize.
