spring

snow fell and you went away
and i have been alone
for so long that i can't
remember
don't recognize you
when you're right
in front of my
loneliness and my
love for your that still
refuses to let itself
die and melt away
with the snow that just
maybe is starting to
retreat and return
the world to the kingdom
of grass and
flower and
sunshine and
to return to me
only just you
