Welcome Faerie!

I use to eat cheesecake with a butter-knife, just hold the knife straight-up-&-down and cut a slice (like a stabbing motion) and flip up your knife with your "bite of cake" on the flat surface of the knife.....it's completely a Pacific NW college thing. For lunch everyday at the university it was cheesecake with butter-knives because the cafeteria NEVER had any other flatware to use....so we improvised and discovered it was more fun with the butter-knives....

Uh, ok, in truth, I still eat my cheesecake this way....and thanks for reading my completely pointless story about "eating cheesecake"....
