A small trick:

Let a=b

Then ab=b^2

Then ab-a^2=b^2-a^2

Factoring, we get a(b-a)=(b+a)(b-a)

Dividing out this (b-a), we get a=b+a

But b=a

Hence a=2a, or 1=2

What/where did it go wrong?


And also: No dog has five legs, but any dog has hour legs more than no dog; hence a dog has nine legs.
