Mass Extinction

I've just seen something on the news about how the world could be heading for a sixth mass extinction - the type of extinction that wiped out the dinosaurs.

Studies have proved that the UK's wildlife has declined over the years and this could spread to the rest of the world, although it is hard to gather reliable information concerning the whole Earth.

Any views?
