I hate fried fish. I like my fish broiled - although shark and swordfish is good on the grill.

That's not true - I've been to lobster shanties in Maine and they just put newspaper on the wooden table, put your lobster on the newspaper. You just eat it off of there and pile the shells in the center. They then come and fold up the newspaper and carry it all away.

Now whats all this talk of biscuits for new years? everyone knows the real tradition is ham hocks and black eyed peas. Although this year I cooked a whole pork shoulder with baked beans instead. i got back home too late to soak the black eyed peas.

In indiana the big thing was Corned Beef and Cabbage, but we never had that out there. We had barbequed ribs, and finger snacks (egg rolls, pizza rolls, chicken nuggets, etc) and we used to have fondue.
